Ok, seriously... I need to get better at doing this!!

SO because it has been so long, I have a lot to update you on!! SO- here we go
August - I started a new job in August working for The Goddard School here in Gilbert, AZ. It is amazing compared to most of the other day cares I have worked at. Low ratios, and much better run. I really enjoy it! I was working with the two year olds. Of course everyone knows that is "my" age group... just by default... every time I interview that is what is available. But all was working out well. ALSO, I started looking at houses in August... needed to get into our own place knowing that Larrys deployment was right around the corner.
September - Work is still going well. I have met a GREAT gal at Goddard. Anna seems to understand what is going on with Larry being away. She is SO sweet. It is so nice to have someone to talk to.
October - Well were still on the hunt for a house. I found a great one in the Islands... but it needs A LOT of work. It was built in 87' and the house still has the orignal carpet, tile, and appliences. SO needless to say.. It needs work. I will keep looking. I know that if I can't find something else, im sure it will still be there. Work is going... okay. I am noticing that maybe the classroom I am working in isn't working out as much as I would like... we will see where that takes us.
November - We went to Georgia to see Nana and Papa's new house the first week of November. Larry met us there for his last leave before the deployment. We had a blast. We went to the Atlanta Aquariam and Larry, Rylee and Kadence LOVED it. I can't believe that Larry's deployment is so soon. The 7th of November we moved into our new house in the Islands. NOT the one that needed a buch of work, but a REALLY nice one!! It is 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, granite counter tops, and a GREAT backyard with a putting green!! We love it! Larry came that weekend with all of our stuff and helped me get all moved in. November 20th, Larry boarded the plane to Iraq.... I still can't believe he is gone. How did this year go by so fast. Right now we are looking at AT LEAST a 12 month deployment... if not longer. I feel so empty and lost without him around..... I am trying to be strong... but it is SOOO hard. I hear from him about every other day.... but that is going to slow down too.... On the bright side, I am now working in the one's classroom at Goddard!! I get to work with Anna and things are going SOOO much better. Working with her seems to help me get thru the day... AS for december, only time will tell. I will post Larry's address when I get it... I miss him so much. Hopefully this year goes by fast!! More Later, I PROMISE I will be better at updating this thing!!!

An update on Little Miss Kadence...

We have had a few VERY fast days. Tuesday night, Kady scarred us pretty bad having 3 apnea spells within a matter of 5 hours. During the last two spells...her lips turned blue...NOT GOOD! So, Wednesday morning, I called her Pulimonoligist and they said..."Get her to Phoenix Children's Hospital ER RIGHT NOW" So...off we went. And you guessed it...they admitted her!! So I am sitting there thinking Ok seriously Kady...BAD TIMING Daddy comes into town tomorrow and I want to see him!!! NOT IN THE HOSPITAL!!! SO of course she was evaluated by every specialist that exists in the hospital haha.

She did see Peds Neurology AGAIN and they agreed they wanted to do ANOTHER EEG because there was/still is a fear that Kady suffers from mini seizures through out the day. However, good news came from Neuro and the EEG. The EEG came back with no seizure activity and the Neurologist agrees, there are no seizures at this time. BUT and there is a BUT, her EEG was NOT normal. There were some small abnormalities in her EEG. At this point, they are not concerned so they will not be doing anything but we will see Neuro again in about 3 to 4 months for another evaluation. If the abnormalities have not gone away at this point, they are going to have to dig deeper...much deeper to find out what is going on and why.

Peds GI came in as well while we were there. As you all know Kady has struggled HORRIBLY with stomach issues. GI is concerned with her weight gain, formula issues, and the fact that she is on SOOOO much medication for her acid reflux. She is on an adult does of Previcid...they have tried to back her down to a smaller dose, and she does not tolerate it at all...so as for now...LOTS of meds is our only option. However, the concern with her weight gain is pretty much gone. She is officially 11lbs and going strong. We are still having to fortify her formula for extra calories so she can catch up. We are also still having to thicken her formula with the gel based thickener so she won't aspirate the formula into her lungs while she eats and end up contracting pneumonia. BUT, on the bright side, GI is VERY pleased with her progress and is hoping by the time she is a year old, she can be off the thickener and off the medications. (Cross your fingers and say your prayers!!)

The last specialist she saw was the most important at this point...Pulminology...the apnea DR. Usually apnea is associated with prematurity...however, Kady is not considered a preemie anymore...her "adjusted age" is now 2 months...what does this mean you ask...it means Kady should not be having apnea anymore. This is very concerning, because Kady is still having them with truly no reason...NOT GOOD. This means the apnea clinic is going to be running some tests to find out why the heck this is still happening. The Docs have me preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best....The worst...something like Ceribel Paulsy (a condition that is caused by a lack of oxygen in the brain at birth with a possibility of causing mental, physical and emotional disabilities) or the best...she is just a stubborn!! (like her daddy!)

So, for now, that is all we know...and you know what...to me it is not very comforting. You know why?? Because that means we don't know anything more than we already did. I guess I need to get more paitent...as for now, I am not going to get any other answers than the ones I already have...now we get to play the waiting again. So, thats it.

As for the rest of the family, Rylee is doing fine and loving that daddy is home, I am doing great and soaking up my time with Larry while I have it. We are all set and planning our trip to Sea World!!! We leave Sunday and head to San Diego and we will spend Monday and Tuesday there and come home Wednesday. We are SOOO excited!!! More Later everyone!! Good Night!!

Just a quick Weekend Update about Sick Kiddo's!

Good morning! Or afternoon! I don't really know what we are considered right now! Anyway, just thought I would give a quick heads up... Larry is going to be here on THURSDAY!!! OMG I could go crazy with excitement!! haha

In other news, Rylee AND Kadence have both been sick since Friday! URGGG.... Rylee got sent home from school early on Thursday throwing up...then Friday she gets pink eye and starts running a fever...Seriously?!?! The vomiting and fever are gone, but pink eye is still going strong!

Kadence is just doing her usual "not feeling well" she isn't eating and is sleeping ALL DAY LONG! Hopefully we are getting on the mend tho. I would go nuts if they were sick when Larry got here!!

As for me, I have been fighting an infection in my leg where they did the surgery...YUCK! But it looks like it is getting situated. FINALLY.

My parents have been at the Cabin all weekend. It is kind of nice to have some alone time. I can't wait till we get a house of our own. I want to have a place to go and just relax without someone watching my every move. But that is just life right now. I am super excited for things to get back to normal.

More Later. Hope all is well!!

Awesome weekend!

We were able to come home to Arizona this weekend. We spent most of the weekend with Jeanie and Duane and did some shopping as well. Jeanie and Duane bought my double stroller to match my beautiful carseat mom and dad bought!!! I am SUPER excited to get it in the mail and put it together!! Other than that, Jeanie and I went to Babies R Us this weekend as well to get some bottles...but as girls do, we also walked out of there with quite a few clothes! 2 packs of onsies, 2 sleepers, a few dresses and 2 pairs of shoes not to mention my bottles, and a 3 foot monkey for Rylee later, we left. I was so greatful for my new clothes for Kadence, I am pretty desperate for girls clothes believe it or not because the girls are opposite seasons! But very exciting.

Raymond is also in town for R&R from Iraq. It has been so nice to spend time with him. Rylee misses him so much. Ray is Rylee (and soon to be Kadnece's) Godfather. He is very near and dear to our hearts and we love to see him every chance we get.

More later, I am sure I will have pictures to post, Rylee and I are staying in AZ for 2 weeks to visit with everyone!! Ohh, here is a picture of my beautiful stroller as well!!

Flustered...

Ok, so going home is supposed to be fun and relaxing...NOT. I am so frustrated and I feel so torn... Everyone wants to see Rylee. I get it. But good God can they take into consideration that going 1 million places tears me into a million pieces and stresses me out!! NO GO!! Stress and this pregnancy are the last thing I need. Needless to say...1 word. FRUSTRATED. I mean, how do you say no..."can we do this?" can we do that" "can she be here then?" "can I take her to see so n so?" RARR Can you tell I am over it....
Stupid pregnancy hormones don't help at all...Joys of motherhood and family.

SO much to talk about!

SO, this weekend will be spent lying at home watching movies having a whining contest!! Larry, Rylee and I are all sick!! YUCK! Larry came home sick yesterday, and now Rylee and I have decided it would be a fun weekend activity to join him!
On a lighter note, I am officially 29 weeks pregnant today! WOW I can't believe I am actually in my 3rd trimester! In a way it is going by really fast. But in others, wow I can't believe how long it is taking to get Kadence here!
We had some REALLY exciting news yesterday. Larry got nominated for something called Wishes for our Hero's. Someone at work nominated him for positive attitude, good work ethic, and being pretty much and example soldier. What that did for us, is we in turn were pretty much adopted out! We were given a brand new bassinet for Kadence and new baby clothes for her as well. I was able to go on walmart.com and pick out my bassinet myself it was so nice to know that Larry's hard work and dedication is noticed in such a large group of people.
Mom and Dad bought us our car seat this week! I am so excited to get it in the mail! It is so pretty and girly, Kadence is going to look adorable in it! Larry also ordered my diaper bag for my valentines day present. I had my eye on in when I was pregnant with Rylee but it was out of our price range. However, know it was on clearance and free shipping and a military discount. It came out to being just as expensive as the rest.!!
Well, Rylee and I are heading home this coming weekend to get the baby swing, bouncer, baby clothes, jumperoo and some other things for a friend of mine that is due any day now. It will be nice to go home and see everyone. I am REALLY hoping that I can go to eggingtons! lol *HINT HINT WINK WINK* Hopefully we can meet up with Grandma and Granddad. I would also LOVE to get out to see Wendy and the Kids. Well that's all for now. Hope all is well. More later..I need to go get some medicine!

Back to Normal...FINALLY!

Life looks like we are heading back on track FINALLY! We got back to El Paso on the 4th and life still wasn't normal. On the bright side, the house is clean so that makes me happy. We brought back company with us this trip, so entertaining didn't stop after Christmas. Our company left today. Now, I can get things back on the ball!!
Rylee is back to using the potty...than God! She is REALLY enjoying her kitchen Santa brought her. She defiantly keeps me on my toes during the day. I just wish I had half the energy she does!
Larry found out Friday that he got moved to a different section in his unit. He was SUPER disappointed because he didn't want to go to this particular section, but at the same point, he was very happy because he is back with Sgt. Marsee which is his favorite NCO in the battalion. Sgt. Marsee actually cares about his soldiers, which is a nice change in today's army. In fact, we had him over for dinner last night. We had so much fun. He is great company.
As for me, I haven't had contractions in 24 hours! That is enough to celebrate in my mind. It is making me very nervous that at 25 weeks (TODAY!!) I am having actual regular contractions. I have a Dr's appt this coming week, so it will be interesting to see what they say. I am sure they will put me on medication, but I am just praying they don't say bed rest. If they do, we are in for a world of hurt!!
WELL, I will post some new pictures of Rylee playing with her kitchen soon. Hope all is well!

The first of many

Hey everyone! I figured living in another state away from everyone, you all would appreciate being able to keep tabs on this side of the Sanders Family. SO, as everyone knows, we spent Christmas and New years at home in Arizona this year. It will be the last Christmas we have with Larry untill 2010. It was nice for the whole family to be there. Rylee was apparently a very good girl this year. Santa brought her a Kitchen for Christmas! After Christmas we headed up north to mom and dad's cabin where we had a hard time getting her inside because she had SO much fun in the snow!! As for now, we are setteling back in at home...THANK GOODNESS!! Rylee needs back in her routine. Larry is doing well being back at home. Busy at work. They finally got some equipment so they have been working late. I'm doing ok. I am having to watch myself. Believe it or Not I am almost 25 weeks preggers (ALREADY!!!) and if I am not careful and do too much, I end up having contractions. YUCK!! Well, thats it for now. More later!
